Relay Position Indicator (RIP)
An RIP is used as added equipment for diaphragm valves for unambiguous indication of the diaphragm position of the valve and thus indication of the state open or closed. RIP it is impossible apply to type NT and C. An RIP is controlled by the valve disk. When the disk is in the bottom position (valve closed), the permanent magnet inside the body of the RIP is in the bottom position and the tongue seal in the head of the RIP is open. At opening, the valve the disk is lifted, the magnet lifts under the tongue seal and this seals the contacts.
