VAP diaphragm safety valves are specified for control of the flow of gas media through piping. They are indirectly actuated (the diaphragm is not directly controlled with the coil, but with the flow of the running gas), direct valves (two positions opened or closed) without a closed voltage are suitable especially as the emergency valves in front of the boiler houses. The valves can be used for all heating gases pursuant to ČSN 38 5502 (the Czech standard) and other non-aggressive gases in an environment with the location classification up to ZONE 1 according to ČSN EN 60079-14. Both the body and the cover are produced from the material, ČSN 42 4231.70, the diaphragm is made of rubber textile. The VAP valves are made in two pressure versions, three types of coils (coil with a B connector; coil with a sealed cable for an explosive environment, Ex environment C, the coil is built-in the box for explosive environment, Ex D environment), and in five interior diameters. In case the flowing gas contains impurities or hydrates, it must be filtered for reliable function.
